Cloisters’ Inspirations UK are costume designers that design and create clothing for individual needs - whether for theatrical performances, themed events, fancy dress, Goth, re-enactment, or simply a desire to own something unique. Period costumes are very popular at the moment - for example the elegant Jane Austen and her dashing Mr Darcy!
A wealth of fabrics; braids, and laces are used in our creations and are chosen specifically to enhance the authenticity of any chosen period in time, whether it be Regency, Victorian, Tudor et al. These can range from Hessian/Wool for the depiction of medieval paupers through to Silks/Muslins for the richness of clothing worn by the wealthier Victorians. All fabrics used are of the highest quality and we endeavour, wherever possible, to choose them for convenience of laundering for our customers.
Our Portfolio shows a sample of the period costumes we create, including the ever popular Jane Austen Regency Gowns and Dresses. Cloisters’ Inspirations will guarantee that every single garment has been individually created and will, therefore, be the only one of its kind, handmade by the costume designers of ‘Cloisters Inspirations UK’
